Editing templates

Some publications have a rotation of approved grid layouts. Templates allow you to specify these layouts once and use them to initialise multiple crosswords.

Opening a template in the Edit Page allows you to add or amend grid layout:

The template edit interface is similar to the standard Edit Page, but with a cut-down selection of properties. Only options that are relevant to the layout of the grid are present. Crossword-specific features can be configured once a crossword has been initialised with the chosen template.
